Is it relevant to "pluck yew" in any way? and why the middle finger only?
What is the origin of phrase"fcuk you"?
i don't know about the word, but i know about the finger... it dates back to france when france was involved in a war with the english. the english were excellent bowmen (is that a word? you know bows and arrows)
well, when the french captured the english, they would cut their middle finger (i'm not sure if they also cut the index finger as well) and let them go. this bowman was no longer able to practice his craft.
so the french would stick out their middle finger as a reminder to the british about what they did.
well, something along those lines atleast
Reply:Years ago if a man had sex with another mans wife he was put in the stocks for the whole town to see. Next to him they wrote For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge which eventually was shortened to just the initials.
