Did anyone read Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire?

In the chapter about Voldemort's return, did anyone notice how by the mansion where he was reborn there was a yew tree? Does this have to do with his wand, which is made out of yew (as mentioned in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone)?

Did anyone read Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire?
Hmm.... I'm not sure. You might be onto something there. I suppose the real question would be, did you notice who the mansion once belonged to? If it was the Riddle house, then the tree might be of some significance. We just don't know. Thanks for bringing up an excellent point!

Also, on a total off topic subject, yesterday J.K. Rowling confirmed that Dumbledore is definitely dead, and in doing so, she made specific references to dumbledoreisnotdead.com. Read the story here:

Reply:maybe, some people believe dumbledore isnt dead, go to www.dumbledoreisnotdead.com
Reply:yeah, i read it. and the point you just raised is kinda interesting. i'll check this out with jk.
Reply:I hate Harry Potter!!!!
Reply:Interesting point, but probably not. Rowling is good but I dont know that she'd follow through on that detail...she's not Tolkien.
Reply:actually I read the book again a few weeks back and I notice that

as nothing is be accident I believe that it has to do with is wand ad harry's wand to
Reply:Since da tree is mentioned,it has to have some significance.

When does she(JKR)eva mention something and then it doesnt figure in the plot???
Reply:i've never really thought abt it, but i guess its possible cuz she mentioned the tree specifically n it has to have some importance!
