Will Singaporeans pay homage to their Javanese king- Suharto?

Singapore- Suharto majority owns you. Temasek was initiated by Suharto money.

Without Suharto getting some form of deal-warmer, Singapore would have been annexed around1965 by Sukarno's successor- he succeeded in annexing the far larger Western New Guinea; Malaysia and Singapore would have been, as they remain, a pushover.

The rife regional money laundering, where the regions' largest economy is chief financier (Indonesia) is done via your Singaporean banks- who are even more secretive than Swiss banks.

Furthermore, the Father of your nation, Lew Kwan Yew is not only friend of Suharto- but was at his bedside.

It was Suharto alone who torpedoed the Indonesia-Singapore Extradition Treaty caused by a personal plea from Yew- which could have drained Singapore of literally billions of Suharto-era money- not to mention Malaysia would now have precedent to chase Mahatir's Singapore money.

Suharto reigned in Habibie's stupid 'Konfrontasi'.

Will Singaporeans miss their King if he passes?

Will Singaporeans pay homage to their Javanese king- Suharto?
He was a truly great man and I have a very close English friend in Indonesia who married a aristocratic Javanese woman. She is absolutely stunning and polite to a fault. Him- I'd rather not comment- but yes, from what I hear Suharto is sorely missed by many.
