Do you babytalk your dog when no one is around?

I admit I do but I wouldnt with anyone else around~~ "are yew my wittle baby are yew my wittle baby i wuv u wittle baby!!"

Do you babytalk your dog when no one is around?
I do all the time....I try to control myself when my son is around. One day I was doing this, phone rang, my son answered it...I heard him say "Hold on I'll get her, she is talking to the dogs right now"..



Yea, someone was calling me to set up a job interview..needless to say, I didn't ge that job...Just as well, they probably just don't get it....
Reply:I talk babytalk to my dogs constatnly.....my husband thinks I'm nuts but I'm pretty sure he talks to them that way when i'm not around.



I get made fun of by pretty much everyone i know for treating them like my kids, but that's what they are to me! i tell them all my secrets because they won't tell anybody =)
Reply:I baby talk with our dogs so much I forget I am doing it and even accidently called bisquits bickies in the check out line at the store. The lady working there and I where talking about how much our dogs like bisquits and I told her about mine going next door and begging for bickies..... To be fair their dogs come to my house and beg too. But the lady only smile in an understanding way. At least they get some ekkersize that way.... Sorry! BTW it is a fribbee too. OK I'll stop now.....lol
Reply:No he doesnt like it and feels offended and belittled if I do that. I usually read the newspaper to him and he gives me his comments. Hopefully he will be able to read it himself soon but he is only 6 months old.
Reply:Yep, but I do it with my cats. The little one gets baby-talked and cuddled a lot, and the older one gets more serious topics and words of encouragement (since he hates our kitten). I think they appreciate it ^^

Reply:I live for me so I talk baby to my dogs anywhere in public as well as in private...why hide something that is so natural....dogs know your mood by how you talk to them as well as your body language...just be free ..to talk wherever you are....never hide love.....
Reply:%26lt;~~~It doesn't matter who is around ... everyone talks baby talk to our Pugs ... even the people we see while we're walking or in any of the stores that allow pets. I don't know why - it just comes out.
